Bolton Abbey

Bolton Abbey

Bolton Abbey lies within the Duke of Devonshire’s 30,000 acre estate at the gateway to the world-renowned Yorkshire Dales.

Visitors to both the village and wider estate can enjoy a full day out, from circular walks around the Priory Church and Abbey ruins, taking a leisurely walk along the River Wharfe to the famous Strid Woods and beyond to the Priest’s House and Barden or even venturing up the moors to Simon’s Seat, from which the views are spectacular.
